An early stage of my marker in lumion, where i was exploring with scale and angel of lights and the impact of that.

Some observation were made after a couple of trialling, my marker needed to be well spotted even if it was surrounded by a heavy landscape.

This is the Zollverein School of Management & Design, located in Essen, Germany. Complex was built from 2003-2006, simple geometric shape and yet SANAA Architects are able to explore and create unique spacial experience using light and glass. which personally i admire.


SANAA Architects' ability to manipulate glass and light is just so fascinating, while the complex itself seems to remain simple and yet diverse.







A number of textures i was exploring with when i was exploring the idea of glass.

Key concept is "Electroliquid Aggregation"meaning the following, 
“Why still speak of the real and the virtual, the material and immaterial? Here these categories are not in opposition, or in some metaphysical disagreement, but more in an electroliquid aggregation, enforcing each other, as in a two part adhesive.”

An sketch up model designed based on concepts derived from Sanaa Architects's work. And this model came from the concepts of light, pure and spacial. Then the model was tested in a real life environment and have been placed in the program Lumion. Heres the screenshots
