Updated Lumion photos

After discussing with my tutor, and referring to the feedbacks I've recieved. Ive decided to make an minor changes towards my shape, which one is to reengage with the natural environment as well as to restablish a new form and mass for my marker.




I chose to add extra lights because i wanted to cuved shape to have an reflective and glowing effect,
which i am trying to resemble Sanaa architects' interesting constast betwen glass and light.

Marker and the Blacktown internation sports park site

I've chosen to place my marker in the soccer field since i wanted to more interaction between the complex and site.

Texture used in the marker


This is the medium texture ive chosen to use since it offers a lot of unique effect when light is shined towards it.



This is the heavy texture i used, due to its rich pattern and it can be easily spotted thus highlighting the Marker.



Ive applied green towards this light texture because i wanted to create a glowing effect from the pattern, as well as exploring the reflection of light

36 Texture from light to dark

This series of patterns were inspired from Sanaa Architects and their use of simple blocks, and how it conveys movement and transition.

This is the path of light and how it can enter through darkness with varied openings as well as exploring light's movement.

Another series of entrance of light through Glass, also exploring the movement. I think by blacking out different shapes at a time, i'm trying to link this idea to the transition between day and night. 

This series were based on the idea of contrasting space and light, by trialling out what can be benefited if more space are blocked or more light.

This is again exploring the relationship between light and darkness, as well as exposure of space.

Overall these set of patterns are all inspired by Sanaa Architecture, base on how they manipulate light and space using very simple geometric shape.In addition their architectures express a unique sensation when light is shined upon their work.
